Saratoga Springs-based Teakwood Builders, Inc. is an award-winning custom builder and remodeler, recognized for work on some of the area’s most notable homes. Acclaimed for superior customer service, a collaborative design-build approach, and the unsurpassed skill of our dedicated pros, we seek someone with proven residential construction expertise to join us as an Estimator/Purchaser.
 
OVERVIEW
The Estimator/Purchaser helps forecast and control construction costs by providing estimates at each phase of project development: proposal, budget assessment, final project budget, and change orders. Work involves specifying materials and trade work for each job, doing material takeoffs, and purchasing needed for new luxury homes and remodeling projects. While work is primarily performed in an office setting, time may be spent on job sites as part of trade walks or periodic field check-ins.

REQUIREMENTS
  • Associates Degree; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years experience in construction industry, residential construction preferred
  • Proven experience working with estimating software/programs
  • Pre-employment criminal background check
