Impact Sector Session: Tech Trends, Tools and Risks for the Impact Sector

   
Randy Rose will explore how impact sector members can use emerging technologies to amplify their capabilities while also managing risks for their organization. This talk will be tailored to be helpful to all levels of experience with technology. Practical tips and additional resources will be shared to help explore the topic further beyond the session. Time will be reserved at the end of the session for networking and information sharing.

Randy is the Vice President of Security Operations and Intelligence at the Center for Internet Security. Prior to CIS, he spent 18 years at various levels of U.S. Government, including leading the largest Security Operations Center in Europe, and the Intelligence Department for the Navy Defensive Cyber Operations Task Force Headquarters. The Center for Internet Security, Inc. (CIS®) makes the connected world a safer place for people, businesses, and governments through our core competencies of collaboration and innovation. CIS is a community-driven nonprofit, responsible for the CIS Controls® and CIS Benchmarks™, globally recognized best practices for securing IT systems and data.
